Whatever your interests, you can never be at a loss for things to do in Moray and beyond. Our Visitors' book echoes with remarks like "A week was only enough to scratch the surface".Some guests spend their time exploring the beaches and cliffs, forests and hills, villages and towns, castles and museums, cathedral and abbeys, distilleries and visitor centres, galleries and parks without ever being more than an hour's drive from Curlew Cottage.
Others love venturing further afield, along Loch Ness, round to Cromarty, over to the West Coast, to Aberdeen and Braemar, up to John o' Groats; even a day trip to Orkney, if you don't mind an early start!
For yet others a week on some of our many golf links and courses is paradise.
When you get to Curlew Cottage, you will find special folders full of local information and brochures, OS maps, books of Scottish interest and personal tips on what to do and where to eat well in places serving out wonderful local produce.
For just a few ideas to start with, see the "in depth" sections and links on the right.
